Immunological detection of Legionella

Antibodies and cell lines

Based on over 15 years of intensive research with Legionella, we have an extensive portfolio of antibodies for the detection of the different serotypes of Legionella pneumophila.

The antibodies from our hybridoma cell lines can be used in immunological tests such as lateral flow assays (LFA), ELISA or in the flow cytometer.

The antibodies are produced in accordance with ISO 9001. Production according to ISO 13485 on request.

Immunological detection of MRSA

In cooperation with other research institutions and companies, the fzmb has developed high-affinity PBP2a antibodies for the selective detection of methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) strains.

The PBP2a antibodies from our hybridoma cell lines can be used in immunological tests such as lateral flow assays (LFA), ELISA. Corresponding matched pairs are available.

The antibodies are produced in accordance with ISO 9001. Production according to ISO 13485 on request.

Detection of pathogenic germs in water samples

Method: Hyperspectral imaging

With the help of a hyperspectral camera microscope, the microorganisms contained in a water sample are scanned and assigned to known classes according to their spectral and morphological properties using AI-based methods.

This allows microbial pathogen classes to be quickly identified and quantified. The method can be used both for the direct detection of Legionella in water circuits and for the classification and quantification of pathogenic germs in wastewater samples.
